Prairie Pals to sponsor 'fun night' at Tampa

Prairie Pals invites the entire community to a family fun night from 7 to 10 p.m. March 15 at the senior center. Entertainment will include cards, Bingo, board games, and snacks.
Martha Melcher and Tillie Hein took Eleanor Murphy to dinner in Hillsboro Monday in celebration of her birthday.
Frank and Anna Mae Stika and Lori Moldenhauer visited the United Methodist church in Hope Sunday morning to hear Anna Weber play special music on the piano.
Bob and Dorothy Gresham of McPherson, Mary Reich of Hope, and Georgia Spohn enjoyed Sunday dinner in Herington.
Stephanie Classen of Marion, Martha Melcher, and Eleanor Murphy were Sunday evening visitors of Helen Schwartzman.
Carl and Kathy Hubbard of Wellington met Adeline Bernhardt and Leona Kleiber Sunday afternoon at Newton Medical Center. All visited Milda Krauter of Marion, who is recovering following hip replacement surgery.
James Weber spent the weekend with Josh Leach. They attended a young people's lock-in at the Rosebank church.
Greg Sklenar of Wichita was a weekend guest of his mother and sister, Lois Sklenar and Valerie Hampton.
John and Pat Schwartzman of Salina spent Sunday with his mother, Helen Schwartzman.
Reuben and Lucille Kerbs went to Junction City Saturday morning to watch a basketball game in which Rustyn Kerbs played. Russ and Julie Kerbs also were present. After the game, Reuben and Lucille went on to Abilene to visit Connie Thompson, Allison and Taylor.
Saturday evening supper guests of Terry and Cindy Vinduska were Daniel and Melissa Stuchlik of Wichita, Jill Vinduska and Armando Tarin of Manhattan, Monty and Sarah Stuchlik and Ross, Lou and Ruby Vinduska, and Leona Kleiber. The occasion was a celebration of Terry's birthday. A decorated cake and ice cream also were enjoyed.
Many from Tampa and the surrounding area attended the annual Lions Club pancake feed Saturday at the senior center. The Lions were fairly pleased with the turnout in spite of the snowy weather.
Anna Mae Stika, Lori Moldenhauer, and Ronnie and Lisa Hanschu attended the basketball game in Junction City Saturday morning to watch James Weber play.
Steve Spohn of Hutchinson visited his grandmother, Georgia Spohn, Saturday and they attended the pancake feed.
Adeline Bernhardt was a guest on Friday of Bud and Jean Pierce of Marion for dinner at the café.
A large crowd attended the annual meeting of Agri-Producers, Inc. Friday evening at the senior center. The meal was served by the ladies of the St. John's Lutheran Church.
Nicholas Kleiber was a Thursday evening supper guest of his grandmother, Leona Kleiber.
About 25 people from Tampa and the surrounding area enjoyed a meal at the senior center Feb. 25, sponsored by St. Luke Hospital at Marion and the Hillsboro Community Medical Center. Those attending received some information about services offered at these health facilities and also participated in a survey designed to assess the medical needs of the area. The meal was catered by Kathy Svitak.
Linda Bernhardt of Wichita met Adeline Bernhardt and Leona Kleiber at Newton Medical Center Feb. 25 to be with Milda Krauter as she underwent hip replacement surgery.
