My sister, Marge and her husband were visiting here and had planned to go on to Iowa to visit relatives. When they learned of the cold, wet weather, their car just seemed to go south back to their home in Arizona. Who can blame them?

Did you read in the paper or see on TV about the man who owned a $2,000 bird? Some way, the bird got out of its cage and flew out the window. He found it in the top of a tall tree. It refused to come to him when he called it, so he climbed the tree and managed to capture it. Then he discovered he couldn't get down so he had his sister, who had been helping him, call 911. I'll be he wished he could fly like a bird.
