Randy Keller
Randal G. "Randy" Keller, 44, of Herington, died Nov. 26, 2003, at University of Nebraska Medical Center, Omaha, Neb.
He was born Feb. 19, 1959, in Anna, Ill., the son of Kent E. and Shirley J. (Schlenker) Keller.
A member of the Dongola Baptist Church, Dongola, Ill., he was a 1977 graduate of Anna-Jonesboro Community High School, Anna, Ill.
He served in the U.S. Army as a staff sergeant until 1986, then served in the U.S. Guard and Reserves. He had lived in Herington since 1982.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
Survivors include his mother, Shirley Keller of Anna, Ill.; two brothers, Kent Keller of Tavares, Fla., and Mark Keller of Dongola, Ill.; two sisters, Martha Harvel of Mill Creek, Ill., and Kelly Miller of Ullin, Ill.; five nephews; and four nieces.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Lutz-Rendleman Funeral Home, Anna, Ill. Burial was in the Anna City Cemetery with military honors.
A memorial has been established with the Center for Basic Cancer Research at Kansas State University, Manhattan.
