Rebecca Funk
Rebecca Funk, 89, died Jan. 31, 2004, at Parkside Homes, Hillsboro.
Born April 26, 1914, near Durham, she was the daughter of Adam and Eva (Schultz) Unruh.
On Aug. 28, 1957, she married Herbert Funk in Hillsboro. He died in 1990.
She was a homemaker and member of Trinity Mennonite Church.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Beth and Marvin Goering of McPherson, Myrna and Stanley Bartel of Manhattan, and Rosanne and David Troxel of Lenexa; a sister, Helen Lais of Hillsboro; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Mennonite Church, Hillsboro, with Pastor Tim Kliewer officiating.
Burial was in Haven of Rest Cemetery, rural Hillsboro.
A memorial fund has been established with Parkside Homes.
