Reception to honor Matt Newhouse
Friends and acquaintances are invited to a come-and-go farewell reception in honor of Marion County Record news editor Matt Newhouse.
The event will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Oct. 31 at the newspaper office.
He has been news editor at the Marion County Record for 15 years.
Newhouse is leaving Marion to relocate in Des Moines, Iowa, where he plans to marry in February.
"Matt has been a dedicated and loyal employee of the newspaper. We invite everyone who has known or worked with him to stop by and wish him well," said publisher Bill Meyer.
