Relay for Life
Ten-year-old Marion resident and cancer survivor Justin Barr talks with Lutheran church pastor Brett Huebner and another survivor Friday evening just before the start of the 2005 Relay for Life at Tabor College track. Approximately $28,000 was raised to fight the deadly disease. Wheeler Walkers team raised more than $5,200 and were the top money raising team out of 17, while Phyllis Kreutziger was the top individual money raiser, with roughly $1,150. This year a special award was given to Marion resident Arleen Hett who walked 29 miles from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m.
