Robert "Rusty" Meier
Robert Rustin "Rusty" Meier, 43, died Nov. 17, 2003, at his home near Hutchinson.
Born Jan. 17, 1960, at Hutchinson, he was the son of Robert E. and Wanda Bogner Meier. He was a lifetime resident of the Burrton and Hutchinson areas.
He was employed as a bead blaster for Consolidated Manufacturing Inc., for 21 years.
He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Haven, International Anvil Fliers, World Anvil Shooters Association, and Model Railroaders Association.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert, and grandparents, Henry and Irene Meier and Ruth Bogner.
Survivors include his mother, Wanda Meier of Burrton; a brother, Darin Meier of Hutchinson; a sister, Melody Freeman of Hutchinson; and grandfather, Floyd Bogner Sr., of Burrton.
Graveside services will be held today (Wednesday) afternoon at Valley Township Cemetery, rural Burrton, with the Rev. John Pool presiding.
A memorial has been established with St. Paul's Lutheran Church School, Haven.
