The accident occurred at 9:40 p.m. on 290th, two-tenths of a mile west of Lincolnville.
Pagenkopf was driving a 1997 Ford F-350 pickup eastbound on 290th. He stopped in the roadway to talk to another driver, Charlie Holub, 35, Florence, who was following him. As Pagenkopf walked back to talk to the other driver, he noticed his truck rolling backward.
