Rosa Symes
Rosa B. Symes, 89, of Wichita, died Jan. 6, 2003. She was a retired medical secretary.
Born Sept. 20, 1913, in Dodge City, she was the daughter of Walter and Julia (Spear) Logan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ralph Symes, and two infant children, John Ralph Symes Jr. and Stephanie Symes.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Karen and Joseph Patton of Goddard, Barbara and Dr. Marvin Levin of St. Louis, Mo., and Patricia and Lyle Meredith of Dodge City; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Lincolnville cemetery.
Memorial funds have been established with American Cancer Society and First United Methodist Church TV Ministry.
