Sangwin wedding

Kelly Marie McAfee, daughter of Russell and Pat McAfee of Council Grove, and Allen Ray Sangwin Jr., son of Allen and Joyce Sangwin of White City, were married Oct. 5, 2002, in Saint Thomas More Catholic Church, Manhattan. Don Zimmerman was the officiating clergyman.

Attending the bride as matron of honor was her sister, Kim Loesche. Bridesmaid was her cousin Teniel Domann.

Steve Boeckman served the groom as best man. Tracy Sandburg was groomsman. Guests were seated by the bride's brothers, Chris, David, and Joe McAfee.

Calder McAfee, nephew of the bride, was ring bearer. The bride's niece, Lacee Loescher, was flower girl.

A reception and dance at the Wareham Opera House followed the ceremony.

The bride is a graduate of Jefferson County North High School, Winchester. She received a bachelor's degree in rehabilitation services from Emporia State University and is employed as a staffing specialist with the Civilian Personnel Operations Center at Fort Riley.

The groom is a graduate of White City High School. He received a bachelor's degree in construction science management from Kansas State University and is employed as an estimator with Central Mechanical, Manhattan.

Following a wedding trip to Dallas, Texas, the couple lives in Manhattan.
