Sassy Senior Moments

We have formed a new group which will be available for parties and groups! It is called "Elvis and the Pinkettes," consisting of Theresa Graham (Elvis) and Norine Holtsclaw, Shirley Moore, Thelma Blosser, and myself as the Pinkettes.
Fred Puttroff discovered some cookies on sale and with some encouragement, bought some for us to enjoy as an extra addition to some of our meals.
Theresa Graham brought treats Jan. 14 for her birthday.
Norine Holtsclaw brought in enough pennies to fill our penny jar. We are in the process of guessing the total amount.
Albert Steele has brought his painting to display on our easels. We welcome artwork and photos to display.
Shirley Moore and Marie Hoffner went to the monthly dance Jan. 15 at Lyons.
Virginia Downing was the speaker on Senior Center Day. She guided us through tax-related documents.
One of the items we request from our lunch group is paper towels to use as placemats, preferably cute ones. After I made this request one day, Woody Crawshaw remarked on the new focus he has since eating here — the hunt for cute paper towels!
Come join us for lunch Jan. 30. Jeanne Maki will give a nutrition program after lunch.
