Starting in April we will be playing card bingo after lunch the third and fourth Fridays. Have you learned to play the game? It's easy and fun and requires no skill. Join us for card bingo.
We had guest meal delivery persons Thursday to celebrate National Nutrition Week. Martin Tice and Jim Crofoot went on the routes and helped deliver meals.
We have two more of Tillie Schafers' paintings on display, plus a cross-stitch bison by Kay Steele. Shirley Bowers brought some doll quilts she had made.
We enjoyed a birthday cake Wednesday, made by Betty Stenzel for her aunt, Lydia Batt. We also had an old-time sing-along led by Shirley Bowers with the audience choosing the songs. Ellen Darrow was the accompanist.
The newsletter crew consisting of Ivanlee and Mary Ann Timm, Charlie and Blanche Cowan, Elsie Reiswig, Evelyn Jewett, Beulah Weigart, Lydia Batt, Doris Ewert, Nora Richter, and Norma Woerz worked diligently Monday morning. They were rewarded with Noreen Weems' traditional newsletter bundt cake.
Come join us for lunch April 12. The program will be given by Larry Hamler of McPherson, who also has a home at Marion County Lake.
