When you read this, Halloween will be over, but at this point, we are encouraging our Meals On Wheels drivers to wear costumes that day.
Thelma Blosser announced she had warts. She then explained that she had a Halloween makeup kit she can use to provide warts for witches and other characters.
Woody Crawshaw brought a supply of Kansas Yellow Dot envelopes to use to alert emergency workers that medical information is available in glove compartments of vehicles. The yellow dot is placed on the outside of the rear window.
We talked about reptile awareness day which was Oct. 21. We learned several scary facts and what to do if bitten by a venomous snake.
Flu shots will be given at Marion Senior Center in November. Watch for the exact date.
Bula Good brought treats to celebrate her 90th birthday.
We finished the mystery puzzle and this time the butler didn't do it. He discovered the killer's identity as he was developing photographs. One of the suspects had mislaid his ax and this was the murder weapon. Of course, that suspect was not the actual killer.
Jordan Timm presented a program Oct. 25. He sang songs from the upcoming Marion High School musical, "My Fair Lady." Anita Brookens was his accompanist.
The lunch program Nov. 8 will be provided by Prairie View. An added incentive is doughnuts.
