Sassy seniors

Every day is an adventure at Marion Senior Center with a bit of confusion thrown in! Even an ordinary day can become more lively if you come in to eat lunch with us! We often do trivia right before lunch, sometimes disagreeing with the answers give!
We did some Veterans Day trivia Nov. 10. We also learned that the least known Marx brother Gummo.
Treats were brought for Larry and Thelma Blosser's fifth wedding anniversary and for Peg Edwardson's birthday, which was Nov. 20.
We are signing a petition to keep the driver's license office in the county treasurer's office.
Flu shots were given Nov. 13 at the center.
Sue Clough brought more art work to display.
Senior Center Day was Nov. 15. The senior citizens elected new officers: Keith Holtsclaw, president; Don Fruechting, vice president; Estelle McCarty continues as secretary; and Herb Jackson as treasurer.
The program was given by Marilyn Geis and Shirley Moore on their recent bus tour to the Smoky Mountains. Come join us for lunch Nov. 29, when the program will be given by Comfort Keepers.
