We are enjoying Christmas music everyday, with a good selection of CDs to listen to. Some days we have live music with Henrietta Waner, Shirley Bowers, or Joyce Kellison playing the piano or organ.
We are guessing the amount of coins in the penny jar with some very close numbers. Some of the folks here are experienced penny jar guessers.
We now have a therapy moose and a posted sign of therapy categories. Holding the moose is nearly as effective as talking to a therapist.
We read the "senior dress code" with a list of combinations to be avoided, such as a mini skirt with support hose. We will try to abide by this code.
Sharon Smith presented the program Dec. 6. She has a lovely singing voice. She also brought along the baby she cares for, Jacob Schwartz, and Rex Wilson as assistant baby sitter.
Come join us for Senior Center Day which is now the third Thursday. The program will be given by the musical Bartel family from Durham.
The Marion County Senior Citizens board will meet here Dec. 15. All senior citizens are welcome to attend.
