Sheriff's office investigates
Someone took four American Racing chrome wheels and tires from the property of Delbert D. Thiesen, 950 Diamond, Newton, sometime between 4:30 p.m. July 17 and 10:15 a.m. July 18. The individual did not pay for them or make arrangements to pay, reports Deputy Schmidt. The wheels are valued at $525.
Deputy Rollin Schmidt observed a white plastic tube inside the billfold of an individual at 225 Grandview, Florence at 4 p.m. Sept. 8. Schmidt found the tube, which is used to smoke methamphetamine, while arresting the individual on a Sedgwick County warrant.
An individual riding a mo-ped at 1st and Doyle in Florence at 6:15 p.m. Sept. 8 was injured in an accident. Deputy Aaron Waddell states the driver's license was suspended. The individual was transported to a hospital in Wichita.
Unknown individuals entered a locked residence at 3452 Visa, Lost Springs between 7 p.m. Aug. 31 and 2:40 p.m. Sept. 3. Monica Marie Bach of the residence, states four mixed breed puppies, one white kitten, and seven AQHA horse registration papers were taken. Individuals also ransacked drawers and cabinets, reports Deputy Schmidt.
Individuals were involved in battery and domestic battery at 429 160th, Hillsboro, at 9:15 a.m. Sept. 11. One individual pushed and shoved one victim and also threw an object through the truck windshield while the victim was inside. The victim then pushed and shoved the individual. Both were arrested, reports Undersheriff Randal Brazil.
