Sunday beer sales requested by bait shop owner
Warren Kreutziger, owner of Canada Bait and Tackle, requested Monday that the Marion County Commission check the law that would allow him to sell beer on Sundays.
Kreutziger said his store is open seven days a week and wants to have Sunday beer sales.
"I've never had a problem regarding beer sales," said Kreutziger. He noted he was not sure where he should start the process but decided to start with the county, since it was where he applies and receives his cereal malt beverage license.
Commissioners were not sure of the process. County clerk Carol Maggard will contact county attorney Susan Robson regarding the issue. It will be on the commission's agenda at Monday's meeting.
