Tampa Lions Club will sponsor a pancake feed from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the senior center.
Leona Kleiber accompanied Cindy Vinduska of Marion Sunday afternoon to Augusta. They joined Becky Routh, Melody, Allison, and Danielle of Augusta and Melissa Stuchlik and Tanner of Wichita. They all attended a layette shower in honor of Holly Routh.
Adeline Bernhardt attended a bridal shower for Amy Reynolds, bride-elect of Jason Plett, Sunday afternoon at the Methodist church in Aulne.
Several Tampa women attended a bridal shower Sunday afternoon for Jessica Ollenburger at Durham Baptist Church. Hostesses for the occasion were Ruth Hamm, Kay Carlson, Shirley Hamm, Eleanor Herbel, and Edie Ollenburger. Special guests included the honoree's grandmothers, Carol Ollenburger and Sarah Penner, and her great-grandmothers, Elma Klein and Hannah Ollenburger.
Sunday dinner guests of Frank and Anna Mae Stika were Tom and Lori Moldenhauer and Lisa Hanschu, James and Anna. All except Lisa, along with Nikki Stenzel, were supper guests.

Tom and Dee Duggan spent Thursday through Saturday with Darla Hall and Adam of Lee's Summit, Mo. All attended Adam's basketball games Thursday evening and Saturday morning. En route home they visited Deb Hall and Kaylee and Everett and Rhea Kolling in Herington.
Adeline Bernhardt visited Milda Krauter Friday afternoon at Marion Manor in Marion and also visited Bud and Jean Pierce of Marion.
Lucille Kerbs visited Allison Phillips Saturday in Abilene.
The women of St. John Lutheran Church were guests of Lutheran Women's Missionary League of Trinity Lutheran Church in Ramona for a supper and World Day of Prayer service Thursday evening. Tampa people attending were Betty Mueller, Edna Mueller, Cindy Bentz, Adeline Bernhardt, Leona Kleiber, Elaine Backhus, Edna Backhus, Alma Meyer, and Pastor Clark Davis. Ramona women participating were Jean Brunner, Yvonne Brunner, Orville Brunner, Paula Fike, Leola Neuschaefer, Margaret Hanschu, and Leona Deines.
Mary Clemmer's sister, Fern Gray of Topeka, died March 2 from pneumonia and flu. Near the beginning of World War II, Gray had been the first female certified airframe welder in Wichita. She had achieved a master's degree without going to high school and taught at McClure Elementary School for 19 years. Mary and her family have the sympathy of the Tampa community.

Paul and Edna Backhus met Bill and Ruth Taylor of Shawnee and Vic Backhus of Herington in Ramona Feb. 28 for supper out.

Mary Clemmer has learned that two of her relatives, Thomas Bills and Charles Crawford, have their names on a plaque on the moon because of their work in the aerospace program. One is related on her mother's side of the family, and one on her father's side.
