Tampa: Flea market is successful experience

The flea market at the American Legion hall Saturday was a qualified success and a learning experience for Auxiliary members. The Auxiliary appreciated the support they received from people in the community.
Holy Redeemer altar society met Monday evening at the senior center with Martha Melcher, Eleanor Murphy, and Tillie Hein as hostesses.
Paul and Edna Backhus went to the visitation for Henrietta Richmond Sunday evening at Zeiner Funeral Home in Marion.
Guests for a cookout at the home of Barney, Linda, and Megan Bernhardt in Wichita Sunday were Carl, Kathy, and Clint Hubbard of Wellington, Ivan and Dee Shaw of Sarcoxie, Mo., Debra Haynes, Hailey and Heather, James Haynes and a friend of Wichita, Leona Kleiber, and Adeline Bernhardt.
Jerry and Jeanne Rziha, Cecilia and Julie and Dana Depo went to Atchison Sunday. They, along with Janie Rziha of Atchison, were dinner guests of John and Jeanne Rziha, Michael, Christopher, and Joseph. In the afternoon, all attended the Benedictine college production of Othello in which Janie had a role.
Sunday dinner guests of Frank and Anna Mae Stika were Ronnie and Lisa Hanschu, James and Anna and Tom and Lori Moldenhauer. Nikki Stenzel joined them for supper. The occasion was a celebration of Lisa's birthday, which was Oct. 18.
Kaylee Hall of Herington came Friday to spend several days with her grandparents, Tom and Dee Duggan.

The occasion was a celebration of Jason's birthday and the Reids' wedding anniversary.
Eleanor Murphy, Martha Melcher, and Tillie Hein attended the card party in Herington Sunday evening.
Carl, Kathy, and Clint Hubbard of Wellington were weekend guests of Adeline Bernhardt. Carl, Kathy and Adeline attended Milda Krauter's sale in Peabody Saturday, then visited Milda at Marion Manor in the evening.
Josh Leach was a Friday overnight guest of James Weber. They joined Anna Mae Stika, Lori Moldenhauer, and Lisa Hanschu on Saturday in attending a football game in Newton, where James played.
Donald and Carolyn Srajer of Omaha, Neb., came here Thursday and stayed until Monday visiting Tillie Hein and Jim and Kris Srajer, Grant and Cole. All went to Hope Friday evening to watch Grant's soccer game. Bill and Pamela Fillmore of Cottonwood Falls joined them on Sunday at the Srajer home for a celebration of Grant's 7th birthday.
Leona Kleiber visited Milda Krauter at Marion Manor Saturday afternoon.

Anna Mae Stika and Lisa Hanschu, James and Anna attended the football game at Centre High School Friday evening. Anna was one of a group of elementary students who performed at half-time.
