Your correspondent neglected to report on the outcome of the contestant search adventure in last week's news but insists the omission was from absent-mindedness, not envy or chagrin. Jane Vajnar failed the written test. Kim Frantz passed the test and had a two-minute interview with someone on the production staff of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?" At this writing, she had not yet received word on whether she will be a contestant.
Melissa Stuchlik of Wichita visited her grandmother, Leona Kleiber, the morning of Aug. 10.
