Tampa: Quinns to present program

Don and Francie Mueller and Kristin and Jerry and Jeanne Rziha, Cecilia, Julie, and Dana went to Salina Sunday evening to attend a reception for senior honor students sponsored by Fort Hays State University. Kristin and Cecilia were presented with $1,000 scholarships by FHSU.
Leona Kleiber and Adeline Bernhardt visited Milda Krauter at Marion Manor Sunday afternoon in Marion.
Deb Hall and Kaylee of Herington and Tom Duggan went to Wichita Sunday afternoon to attend the "Sesame Street" production at the Coliseum.
Sunday dinner guests of Frank and Anna Mae Stika were Lisa Hanschu, James and Anna and Tom and Lori Moldenhauer and Nikki. The occasion was an early celebration of Valentine's Day.
Jim and Mary Clemmer have received word that their grandson, Shawn Clemmer of Salina, while on a business trip to Iowa for his employer, Premier Pneumatics, lost control of his car on a slick road and wrecked it. Fortunately, Shawn was not injured.
Wayne and Marita Schwartzman of Wichita were weekend guests of his mother Helen Schwartzman and her houseguest Leroy Schwartzman of Ballwin, Mo.
Reuben and Lucille Kerbs went to Abilene Saturday to watch their granddaughter Taylor Thompson play children's basketball at Abilene High School. Connie Thompson and Allison also were present. Reuben, Lucille, Connie, and Taylor went out to eat after the game.
Jeanne Rziha, Cecilia and Julie, Dana Depo, and Kristin Mueller went to Atchison Friday afternoon. They were overnight guests of John and Jeanne Rziha, Michael, Christopher, Joseph, and Timothy and also visited with Janie Rziha. Cecilia and Kristin attended a reception Friday evening and participated in an essay and interview on Saturday in competition for scholarships to Benedictine College.
Lutheran Women's Missionary League met Feb. 5 in the church basement. Pastor Clark Davis led the topic and devotions. Joyce Medley was hostess. Others present were Adeline Bernhardt, Janet Bielefield, Kathy Davis, Evelyn Hensley, Leona Kleiber, and Betty Mueller.
The Centre High School quiz team took fourth place Thursday evening among 14 schools at the regional quiz meet at Centre. The team consisted of Cecilia Rziha, Alisa Fernandes, Danielle Engler, and Tad Remy. They were second in their pool, but did not place in the finals.
Adeline Bernhardt and Leona Kleiber visited Milda Krauter at Marion Manor the morning of Feb. 5.
