Thanksgiving dinner is planned
The Community Thanksgiving Dinner will be from 12 to 1:30 p.m., Thanksgiving Day, at the Marion Middle School/Marion High School Commons.
Sponsored by the Marion Ministerial Alliance, local volunteers provide jello salads, pies, baked turkey, and prepare and serve the remainder of the dinner.
The menu includes turkey, dressing, homemade mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, salad, pie, roll, and coffee or tea. A free will donation is accepted but not required.
The proceeds provide money for the Ministerial Alliance's Helping Hands Fund which assists those in need.
Reservations are necessary and may be called in to the Marion Chamber of Commerce office at 382-3425 until Nov. 21.
