The choice is yours
Tired of those pesky phone calls, junk mail, and itinerant salesmen who bother more often than you'd like?
There's something you can do about it. Sign up for the "no call" list; inform the post office that you want no third class "junk mail" delivered to your address; and insist that the Green River ordinance against door-to-door salesmen is enforced in your community.
Instead of being bombarded by unwanted phone calls, salesmen, and junk mail; people have a choice.
Be informed by subscribing to your community newspaper, which is welcomed weekly into your home, not just sent to you whether you want it or not.
Traditional newspapers point with pride to their list of paid subscribers who lay down cash to prove they want it.
There's a vast difference between paid circulation and bulk mail, as advertisers know. The advertisers also plunk down their cash, knowing that traditional newspapers have much more sales wallop than throwaway sheets, handbills, and bulk mailed flyers.
If you want your telephone, front door, and mail box relieved of uninvited solicitors, rescind their access and continue to welcome your community newspaper.
