Theme chosen for Old Settlers Day
"St. Luke Hospital: 50 Years of Care" is the theme for the 2002 Old Settlers' Day parade, announces the Marion Kiwanis Club.
A theme honoring the library was seriously considered, but that theme was used a couple of years ago.
Old Settlers' Day is Sept. 28. St. Luke will hold an open house and other festivities during that weekend.
Those wanting to sign up for the parade should call parade chairman Tom Kimbrel at 382-3899 or general chairman Michele Lundy at 382-8811.
