Trevia Schneider
Trevia Joy Schneider, 70, of Ramona, died March 18, 2005, at Wichita.
Born Oct. 19, 1934, in Elmo, she was the daughter of Howard and Vera (Westover) Womochil.
She graduated in 1952 from Enterprise High School.
She married Verdon Henry "Duke" Schneider on Aug. 12, 1952. He died in 2000.
She was the former owner of Schneider Market in Ramona from 1970-1982. She also delivered the Salina Journal with her daughters for many years.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Ramona, the Ladies Aid Society, and Ramona Senior Citizens.
Survivors include four daughters, Thelma Jean Appodaca of Junction City, Marilyn Kay Gregory, Teresa Jay Gehrke, and Tina Marie Lindsly, all of Herington; a sister, Jean Tyson of Springdale, Ark.; five brothers, Lyle Womochil of Littleton, Colo., Glen and Tracy Womochil of Abilene, Gerald Womochil of Broomfield, Colo., Larry Womochil of Detroit; six grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at Trinity Lutheran Church, Ramona, with Pastor Clark Davis officiating.
Burial was in Lewis Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been established with the church.
