Two Marion County youths arrested for armed robbery
Two young men from Marion County are in custody following a Jan. 3 armed robbery of Roxbury State Bank. Roxbury is in McPherson County.
Jack Davis, 20, 3275 Quail Creek, Ramona, was arrested at his home Jan. 7 after law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at the Ron Davis residence.
Brandon Klenda, 17, 1677 300th St., Lincolnville, a second suspect, was arrested Thursday at a residence in Lost Springs.
Klenda was transported to a juvenile facility in Hutchinson. According to Marion County Sheriff Lee Becker, he has since been adjudicated to be an adult and is incarcerated along with Davis at the McPherson County Jail.
Becker said a lot of follow-up is being done and leads are being actively pursued in regards to other area bank robberies, such as at Pilsen State Bank, Lincolnville, and Tampa State Bank branch office at Ramona. Those cases remain open and under intense investigation, he said.
