USD 408 discusses seating for building project years ago
In a special meeting April 20 Marion-Florence USD 408 Board of Education met to discuss seating for the new gymnasium and auditorium that is part of a bond issue passed earlier this month by voters.
The board looked at seats with backs and some without for the gymnasium, and a stadium-style seat with cushion for the auditorium. The board did not make a decision at the meeting.
"We continue to have questions and are waiting for some answers," superintendent Lee Leiker said.
Leiker said he wasn't sure if the board would make a decision by the next regular meeting, May 8, but did say the board welcomed any questions or comments regarding seating.
