USD 408 has new teachers years ago
Marion-Florence USD 408 has two new teachers this year. Kevin Moler will teach vocal music in grades seven through 12, and Amanda Pfannenstiel will teach fifth grade at Marion Elementary School.
Moler just received his bachelor of music education degree this year from Wichita State University. The Wichita native said he hopes to impart to students "the joy of music and how it ties aspects of life together, and school subject areas, too."
Pfannenstiel, a Ness City native, received her bachelor's degree in elementary education this year from Bethany College. She is very interested in children's literature at the fifth-grade level, books such as "Tuck Everlasting" and the entire Harry Potter series.
