Vivian Klein

Vivian M. Klein, 91, died May 11, 2003, at Showalter Villa, Hesston.

Born Feb. 22, 1912, at Aulne, she was the daughter of Peter and Mary (Hanneman) Unruh.

She was born and grew up in Aulne and also lived in Marion, Hillsboro, Moundridge, Wichita, and Belle Plaine before moving to Hesston early in 2000.

A music teacher and homemaker, she married Cornelius F. Klein on June 7, 1949, at Aulne. He died in 1977.

She was a member of Hesston Inter-Mennonite Church.

Survivors include a son, Robert Klein of Moundridge; two stepsons, Kenneth Klein of Athens, Ga., and Harold Klein of Wichita; a daughter, Vickie Sauceda of Wellington; a stepdaughter, Ruth McGinness of Marion; two brothers, Herman Unruh of Marion and Wilbur Unruh of Wichita; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside services and burial were at 9 a.m. Wednesday at Marion Cemetery. A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hesston Inter-Mennonite Church. The Rev. Scott Miller officiated.
