Vote Tuesday
Marion County voters will go to the polls Tuesday to elect city and school district leaders.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Advance ballots are available at Marion County Clerk's office in the courthouse during regular business hours and until 5 p.m. Monday.
City council positions and candidates are:
— Burns, council, three positions: Brent D. Baker, Daniel S. Huls II, Patricia Nystrom, incumbent Judith A. Steward, and Susan A. Savage.
— Durham, mayor: (I) Glennon Crowther; council, five positions: Steven B. Miller, Michael Sorensen, Verlin Summerfeld, and (I) Gary Unruh.
— Florence, mayor: Greg Winn; council, ward one, one position: Dorothy Cleverley and (I) Daniel Ludwig; ward two, one position: Gary Nesser and Trayce Warner.
— Goessel, council three positions: Anton H. Epp, (I) Ricky Freeman, (I) James Wiens, and (I) Dwayne Duerksen.
— Hillsboro, mayor: (I) Delores Dalke; council, ward one/west: Robert Watson; ward two/east: (I) Matt Hiebert and Shane Marler.
— Lehigh, no candidates filed for mayor or five council positions.
— Lincolnville, council, three positions: (I) Dawn Kaiser and (I) Sherry Pankratz.
— Lost Springs, no candidates filed for mayor or five council positions.
— Marion, mayor: Mary Olson and (I) Martin Tice.
— Peabody, mayor: Edmund Slocombe; council, three positions: Mitch Cunningham, Larry Larsen, and (I) Steven Rose.
— Ramona, mayor: Pat Wick; council, five positions: Nathan Bailey, (I) Jayme Brunner, Jeanette Goza, (I) Angel Harold, (I) Arthur Stroda, and (I) Kathy Werth.
— Tampa, mayor: (I) James Clemmer; council, three positions: (I) Willis Herbel and (I) Timothy J. Svoboda.
School district candidates are:
