Warriors defeat Trinity

Marion High School boys' varsity basketball team defeated Wichita Trinity Feb. 12 by the score of 68 to 56.

The Warriors end the regular season with a home game Thursday against Chase County.

Sub-state action begins Monday. Seedings will be announced today, Wednesday, on the activities association website at kshsaa.org.

Higher seeds will host opening round games. Most games start at 7 p.m.

Lyons is the host school at which Marion will participate. Others in the sub-state bracket are Hillsboro, Ellinwood, Southeast of Saline, Hesston, Hoisington, and St. John's Military.

Semi-final games are 6 and 7:30 p.m. Feb. 28. Championship is 7:30 p.m. March 2.
