Wes Pankratz
Wes Pankratz, 82, of Hillsboro, died June 7, 2005.
Born Aug. 23, 1922, in Marion County, he was the son of Peter and Mary (Funk) Pankratz.
He was a farmer/stockman and member of Trinity Mennonite Church.
On May 25, 1948, he married Erma Hiebert at Lehigh.
Survivors include his wife, Erma of Hillsboro; two sons, Dean Pankratz of Bennett, Colo., and Bob Pankratz of St. Louis, Mo.; two daughters, Janet Duerksen of Lehigh and Karen Schultz of Alpha, Ill.; a sister, Alice Harms of Parsons; 10 grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and four step-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at Trinity Mennonite Church, Hillsboro, with Pastor Tim Kliewer officiating.
Burial was in Haven of Rest Cemetery, rural Hillsboro.
Memorial funds have been established with Mennonite Central Committee or Main Street Ministries.
