Winkler builds recording studio
Gene Winkler soon will be moving his G&J Video business to a new room in the shop area of his building at 426 E. Main, Marion.
An overhead door was removed and replaced with a vinyl-sided white wall containing a walk-in door.
The wall is the east side of an 18'x24' room with a lowered ceiling.
The room will contain Winkler's tape duplicating and editing equipment as well as a studio for WTVN, Channel 22.
Winkler said he hopes to be able to do live shows at the studio, to be broadcast on Channel 22. They would feature interviews with coaches and other people of local interest.
He expects the new facility to be ready for use by next week.
