Donna Kreutziger drove Janet Bryant and I to Russell Friday evening stopping at Salina for supper. We attended the UMW District meeting Saturday hosted by Trinity United Methodist Church. We brought home Monday a five-star award, Gold Mission Today award and seven reading awards. We were second in the district for reading the most books, having completed 72 books. Valley UMW group read 71 so we were lucky to be second. I didn't get all our books reported, however, and will try to do better next year.
