I have returned from two weeks in Walnut Creek, Calif., just this Monday morning. I had a wonderful trip filled with sunshine, beautiful blooming flowers, good food, a trip to the Hearst Castle, and a delay getting home due to Wichita being fogged in for two days this weekend. While in California, I had lessons in rotary cutter quilts and applique quilts. I brought home a finished project in both methods and lots of tools to continue my projects. I am happy we didn't get the storms that Wichita got and was able to drive home once we were allowed to land the plane from Denver in Wichita.
