‘Sunny’ Herman

Mass of Christian burial for Ervin “Sunny” Herman, 90, Ellis, who passed away Friday, Feb. 14, 2025, at St. Luke Living Center, Marion, will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Ellis.

Sunny was born July 6, 1934, on his family’s farmstead in Trego County to Nick and Anna (Lang) Herman.

Surviving him are his children, Rose Davidson and husband Greg, and their children, Sarah Davidson and Rachel Meehan and husband Stephen, and great-grandchildren Teddy, Molly, Maxwell; Mark Herman and wife Cheryl, and Michelle Herman and husband Michael.

He was preceded in death by sons David and Timothy; parents Nick and Anna Herman; brothers Theodore, Clarence, Louis, and Lawrence; sisters Annice, Lauraine, Lydia, Stella, Bernice, and Rita Mae; and great-grandchild Caspian Vaughan.
