These accident reports were released this past week by law enforcement agencies:

SHERIFF

60th Rd. west of Remington Rd.

John C. Boese, 51, rural Burns, told a sheriff’s deputy that a white Ford Taurus ran his 2011 Toyota Camry off the road at 6:50 p.m. Oct. 28.

The Camry veered left of center then back through the right ditch and into a fence owned by Carl Mackey of rural Peabody. The car sustained extensive damage to all four sides and was towed.

Deputy Kaylan Miles’s report attributes the accident to inattentive driving by Boese, but no tickets were issued.

US-56/77 north of 210th Rd.

Mallory J. Bohnenblust, 37, Clearwater, hit a deer with her 2020 Toyota Four Runner at 10:29 p.m. Oct. 28.

US-56 west of southbound K-15

August T. Homburg, 23, rural Marion, hit a deer at 11 p.m. Oct. 29 while driving a 2018 Ford Transit Connect owned by Barkman Honey of Hillsboro.

K-15 north of 270th Rd.

Ashly H. V. Olson, 40, Hope, hit a deer at 6:03 a.m. Oct. 30 while driving a 2017 Ford F-350 owned by Epoxy Coating of Kansas City, Kansas.

220th Rd. east of Kanza Rd.

A deer ran into the side of a 2014 Honda Civic owned and driven by Yoben B. Ratzlaff, 39, Hillsboro, at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 30. Deputies were notified more than an hour later. The car was towed.

K-15 south of 230th Rd.

Joseph E. Olson, 56, Gypsum, hit a deer at 8:04 a.m. Nov. 1 with his 2013 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. The pickup was towed.

330th Rd. east of Diamond Rd.

Alex M. Potter, 24, Hutchinson, hit a deer at 7:09 a.m. Nov. 1 with his 2018 Dodge Ram 3500.

Indigo Rd. north of 120th Rd.

Robin A. Taylor, 59, Hillsboro, hit a deer at 8:50 p.m. Nov. 2 with her 2013 Hyundai Tucson. Douglas L. Taylor, 66, of the same address was a passenger in the car.

Sunrise Rd. north of US-56

Aries F.H. Countryman, 16, rural Marion, lost control of a 2006 Ford Mustang at 4 p.m. Thursday, drove off the road, made a U-turn in grass, and stopped in a ditch.

Auryona A. Countryman, 13, was a passenger in the Mustang, owned by John M. Countryman, all of the same nearby address.

Deputy Aaron Christner’s report said Aries was driving too fast on the gravel road, but no ticket was issued.

Indigo Rd. south of 90th Rd.

Russell R. Jost, 61, rural Hillsboro, hit a deer at 8 a.m. Friday while driving a Ford F-150 owned by Ag Service of Hillsboro.
