Carolyn Ray

Visitation and a celebration of life for Carolyn Sue Ray, 75, Hillsboro, who died Jan. 15 at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Hospital, Wichita, will be 1 p.m. Feb. 16 at Hillsboro American Legion post.

Services also are planned for 11 p.m. Feb. 15 at Parkerville Baptist Church, White City.

Born Aug. 30, 1949, in Council Grove to Mary (Holm) and Fred Roberts, she lived in Parkerville for 16 years until her family moved to Potwin.

She attended Remington High School, where she met and married Chuck Foulk. She worked as a certified nursing assistant and medication aide at Whitewater Nursing Home.

On March 25, 2005, she married Harvey Ray. They spent 20 years in Hillsboro.

He survives along with daughter MaLinda Moomey; son DeWayne Foulk; brothers Marvin, Gerry, and Gary Roberts; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Her parents and brother Larry Roberts preceded her in death.

A memorial has been established with the Hillsboro American Legion post.
