NEW JAILINGS

Jacob W. Barger, 19, Herington, jailed Friday for two days on court orders. Previously jailed Nov. 12 on court orders and Nov. 28, 2020, on suspicion of distributing 25 to 450 grams of marijuana, the equivalent of 75 to 1,400 marijuana cigarettes.

Thomas C. DeWitt, 39, Florence, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and transporting an open container of alcohol. Released an hour later on $2,500 surety bond.

Sarah K. Kelley, 31, Marion, arrested Nov. 17 by Marion police on suspicion of possessing marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and an opiate, narcotic, or stimulant. Released 14½ hours later on $5,000 surety bond.

Dawn N. Kohman, 39, Lincolnville, jailed Nov. 17 for two days on court orders. Previously jailed Nov. 10 on court orders, Aug. 17 to 25 for failing to appear in court, and July 4, 2020, on suspicion of possessing marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and an opiate, narcotic, or stimulant.

Shane A. Mascareno, 52, Herington, jailed Nov. 17 for failing to appear in court. Released less than half an hour later on $100 cash bond. Previously jailed Dec. 16, also for failing to appear in court.

Hernan Medina, 32, Lenexa, held Thursday by a sheriff’s deputy for California authorities. Released an hour later on $75,000 surety bond.

Zachary T. Nickel, 20, Marion, jailed Friday for four days on court orders. Previously jailed Sept. 22 to Oct. 22 and March 27 to April 19 on court orders, Dec. 16 to March 27 on suspicion of theft, and Nov. 5 and 6, 2019, on suspicion of battery of a school employee.
