NEW JAILINGS

Amber M. Carlson, 39, Sylvia, jailed Aug. 22 for failing to appear in court. Held in lieu of $5,000 bond. Previously jailed Aug. 16 to Sept. 7, 2022, for failing to appear in court and Feb. 26 to March 10, 2020, on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, marijuana, and paraphernalia to cultivate marijuana.

Richard A. Ferran Jr., 43, Peabody, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed June 23 to 25 on court orders, April 20 to 21 on suspicion of violating driver’s license restrictions and failing to display vehicle license plates, and Dec. 7 to 11 on suspicion of possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia, making an improper stop or turn signal, transporting an open container of alcohol, and having no tax stamp for marijuana.

April N. Fore, 35, Peabody, jailed Aug. 23 for Department of Corrections. Previously jailed 13 times for a total of 42 days between April 25, 2018, and Sept. 22, 2022. Previous jailings were for failing to appear in court 20 times, for allegedly violating her probation three times, on court orders once, on an unspecified warrant once, and on suspicion of driving without a valid license twice, giving a worthless check once, and battery once.

Stephaine L. Johnson, 45, Newton, arrested Thursday by a sheriff’s deputy for allegedly violating her probation twice. Released a day later after posting a total of $12,500 in bonds. Previously jailed July 24 to 26 and March 31 to April 2, both times on court orders.

Deann N. Spencer, 43, Peabody, jailed Thursday for contempt of court. Released an hour later after posting a $5,000 bond. Previously jailed April 20 to May 9 on a Harvey County warrant and on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance.

Channing L. Wall, 29, McPherson, jailed Saturday for 72 hours on court orders. Previously jailed Aug. 10 to 12 on court orders and June 7 to 8, 2022, on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, transporting an open container of alcohol, and possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
