NEW JAILINGS

Demiko A. Blincoe, 23, Manhattan, arrested Friday by Peabody police on suspicion of having an unlawful vehicle registration and failing to have vehicle liability insurance. Released 14 hours later after posting a $500 bond.

Jouanna S. Cain, 32, Florence, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed Oct. 2 on suspicion of theft and driving while her license was canceled, suspended, or revoked and May 22 and April 28 for failing to appear in court.

Kevin W. Geren, 62, Marion, jailed Thursday for reasons not specified. Previously jailed 11 times for a total of 53 days between Dec. 18, 2019, and Dec. 7, 2023. Previous jailings were on court orders, for failing to appear in court six times, for allegedly violating his probation, and on suspicion of making a criminal threat, fleeing or eluding police, failing to display proof of vehicle liability insurance, distributing stimulants, and possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia three times and hallucinogens and marijuana once.

John E. Hall-Kennedy, 28, Wichita, jailed Tuesday for failing to appear in court. Held in lieu of $20,000 bond. Previously jailed Dec. 22, 2021, to Jan. 3, 2022, and July 30 to 31, 2022, for failing to appear in court and Dec. 19 to 27, 2019, on suspicion of distributing and possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia

Robin J. Hays, 45, Florence, arrested Tuesday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of criminal use of a financial card and possession of stimulants and drug paraphernalia and allegedly violating her probation. Previously jailed Feb. 15 to 17 on court orders; July 4 and 5, 2022, for allegedly violating her probation; and July 21 to Aug. 5, 2018, on suspicion of aggravated child endangerment and possessing marijuana, stimulants, and drug paraphernalia.

Brian W. Hiebert, 27, Florence, arrested Tuesday by Hillsboro police for allegedly violating his probation. Held in lieu of $25,000 bond. Previously jailed nine times for a total of 126 days between Aug. 19, 2018, and Aug. 23, 2023. Previous jailings were on court orders, for contempt of court twice, for allegedly violating his probation twice, for failing to appear in court four times, and on suspicion of four courts of theft and single counts of burglary, criminal trespassing, interfering with a law enforcement officer, forgery, driving without a license, failing to have vehicle liability insurance, contributing to a child’s misconduct, supplying alcohol to a minor, and possessing marijuana, a controlled substance, and drug paraphernalia.

Samatha J. Hilbert, 20, Junction City, jailed Thursday for Morris County authorities.

Bell-One’ S. Meyer, 29, Wichita, jailed Tuesday for failing to appear in court. Held in lieu of $15,000 bond. Previously jailed July 25 to 28 on suspicion of possessing stolen property and drug paraphernalia, distributing stimulants, and fleeing or attempting to elude law enforcement.

Nicholas C. Peterson, 40, Peabody, jailed Thursday on suspicion of violating offender registration and held for Kansas Department of Corrections authorities. Previously jailed June 7, 2022, for allegedly violating his probation and May 25, 2021, on suspicion of domestic battery.

Dawn M. Setzer, 41, Peabody, jailed Friday for 72 hours on court orders. Previously jailed five times for a total of 11 days between May 22, 2022, and Sept. 17, 2023. Previous jailings were on court orders, for allegedly violating her probation, and on suspicion of three times possessing stimulants and twice possessing drug paraphernalia.

Jacob R. Stucky, 19, Halstead, jailed Thursday for failing to appear in court. Released 20 hours later after posting a $20,000 bond. Previously jailed Aug. 21 and 22 on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and of possessing marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and an undetermined controlled substance.

Eric A. Wilcynski, 43, Newton, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed Jan. 12 to 15 and Jan. 8 to 13, 2023, on court orders and Feb. 28, 2018, on suspicion of theft.
