NEW JAILINGS
Paul F. Baatrup, 23, Wichita, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed eight times for a total of 104 days between April 15, 2019, and April 7, 2024. Previous jailings were on court orders five times and on suspicion of violating offender registration three times.
Calris D. Daum, 42, Peabody, arrested April 9 by Peabody police on suspicion of domestic battery. Released 18 hours later after posting a $2,000 bond.
Matthew Finch, 40, Salina, jailed April 9 for failing to appear in court. Released three hours later after posting a $25,000 bond. Previously jailed July 18 to Aug. 13, 2022, on suspicion of distributing and possessing stimulants, possessing drug paraphernalia, and having no marijuana tax stamp.
Kevin W. Geren, 62, Marion, jailed Saturday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed 12 times for a total of 84 days between Dec. 18, 2019, and March 2, 2024. Previous jailings were on court orders twice, for failing to appear in court six times, for allegedly violating his probation once, and on suspicion of distributing stimulants, fleeing police, making a criminal threat, failing to display evidence of vehicle liability insurance, and possessing stimulants (three times), drug paraphernalia (three times), marijuana (once), and hallucinogens (once).
Tessa D. Gray, 41, Peabody, jailed Monday for allegedly violating her probation. Released 74 minutes later without bond. Previously jailed nine times for a total of 24 days between March 27, 2018, and Nov. 27, 2023. Previous jailings were on court orders twice, for failing to appear in court three times, for two other allegations of violating her probation, and on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia and criminal use of a financial card.
Reginald V. Matz, 69, Hillsboro, arrested Thursday by Hillsboro police on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol and failing to report an accident. Released Saturday after posting a $5,000 bond.
Timothy J. McMahon, 35, Kansas City, Missouri, arrested Sunday by Marion police on suspicion of possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Released 18 hours late after posting $4,000 in bonds.
Dustin D. Rodgers, 48, Peabody, arrested Sunday by a sheriff’s deputy for failing to appear in court four times. Held in lieu of a $20,000 bond. Previously jailed seven times for a total of 18 days between May 5, 2021, and Feb. 25, 2023. Previous jailings were on court orders, for failing to appear in court twice, for allegedly violating his probation, and on suspicion of possessing stimulants and drug paraphernalia, failing to use a required anti-drinking ignition interlock, driving a vehicle with a license plate not assigned to it, twice failing to display evidence of vehicle liability insurance, and twice driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.
Todd P. Singley, 47, Newton, jailed Saturday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed June 17 to Aug. 16 on court orders, June 22 to July 8, 2022, for failing to appear in court, and May 14, 2022, on suspicion of aggravated battery.
