NEW JAILINGS

Kyleigh E. Clarke, 23, Kansas City, Missouri, jailed Aug. 30 for 30 days on court orders. Previously jailed five times for a total of all or part of 14 days between Aug. 4, 2020, and June 7, 2024. Previous jailings were for failing to appear in court twice, on court orders twice, and for allegedly violating her probation once.

Loretta K. Bittinger, 50, Wiley Ford, West Virginia, arrested Tuesday by Marion police on suspicion of possessing marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and a controlled substance. Bond not set.

Tanner L. Jasper, 25, Hillsboro, arrested Aug. 28 on suspicion of recklessly fleeing law enforcement, aggravated battery of a law enforcement officer, reckless driving, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, felony criminal damage to property, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked. Held in lieu of a $50,000 bond. Previously jailed 17 times for a total of all or part of 398 days between Aug. 12, 2018, and Aug. 12, 2024. Previous jailings were for failing to appear in court five times, violating his probation seven times, being in contempt of court twice, on court orders twice, and on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia three times, marijuana twice, and stimulants once; interfering with law enforcement; criminal trespassing; theft by threat; making a criminal threat; disorderly conduct; underage liquor consumption; and driving without a valid license.

William T. Ledford, 35, Marion, jailed Tuesday for six days on court orders.

Bell-One’ S. Meyer, 29, Wichita, jailed Aug. 28 for failing to appear in court. Held in lieu of a $25,000 bond. Previously jailed Feb. 6 to April 11 for failing to appear in court and July 25 to 28, 2023, on suspicion of distribution of stimulants, possession of stolen property and drug paraphernalia, and recklessly fleeing law enforcement.

Julie N. Salas, 44, McPherson, arrested Aug. 30 by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Released eight hours later after posting a $2,500 bond.

Ronnie P. Winters, 29, Marion, arrested Thursday by Marion police on suspicion of criminal damage to property. Released 18 hours later after posting a $1,000 bond. Previously jailed Feb. 15, 2023, on suspicion of battery.
