NEW JAILINGS

Joseph E. Fiedler, 28, Wichita, jailed Friday for twice failing to appear in court. Released Monday after posting a $5,000 bond. Previously jailed four times for a total of all or part of 90 days between Nov. 28, 2023, and Jan. 24, 2025. Previous jailings were on court orders, for contempt of court, and on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a weapon and of possessing stimulants, stolen property, and marijuana

Paul A. Huddleston, 26, Marion, arrested Friday by Marion police on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, driving without a valid license, and failing to yield to an emergency vehicle. Released 14 hours later after posting a $2,500 bond.

Sara Jane N. Miller, 37, Hillsboro, jailed Sunday, apparently for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed April 1 and 2 on suspicion of possessing stimulants, depressants, marijuana, and another controlled substance.

Johnathan C. Prebble, 22, Lincolnville, arrested Saturday by Marion police on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, aggravated child endangerment, criminal use of a weapon, disorderly conduct, and failing to have vehicle liability insurance. Released Monday after posting a $10,000 bond. Previously jailed Dec. 15 and 16 for failing to appear in court.

Samuel I. Reffett, 42, Galena, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy for allegedly violating his probation five times. Released 32 minutes later after posting a $5,000 bond. Previously jailed 10 times for a total of all or part of 64 days between Jan. 21, 2022, and Oct. 27, 2024. Previous jailings were on court orders four times, for allegedly violating his probation four times, for failing to appear in court once, and on suspicion of two counts of domestic battery and single counts of making a criminal threat, tampering with and driving without a required anti-drinking ignition interlock, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.

Cheyenne L. Schlaack, 33, Farmington Hills, Michigan, arrested during a traffic stop Monday by a sheriff’s deputy after discovery of Shawnee County warrants alleging felony theft by deception and violation of employment security laws. Released within two hours after posting a $1,000 bond.

Michael W. Sigel, 53, Marion, jailed Monday on court orders from Chase County.

Joshua J. Smalley, 40, Peabody, arrested Saturday by a sheriff’s deputy for allegedly violating probation. Released Monday after posting a $7,500 bond. Previously jailed four times for a total of all of part of 49 days between Jan. 22, 2018, and Nov. 25, 2024. Previous jailings were for failing to appear in court and on suspicion of filing a false report, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, failing to have vehicle liability insurance, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.
