NEW JAILINGS

Carla D. Farley, 48, Herington, arrested Saturday by a sheriff’s deputy on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Released 2¼ hours later after posting a $2,500 bond.

Nancy D. Garcia, 50, Marion, jailed Monday for 72 hours on court orders. Previously jailed 13 times for a total of all or part of 238 days between Jan. 26, 2018, and July 21, 2024. Previous jailings were for allegedly violating her probation seven times, on court orders four times, for failing to appear in court once, and on suspicion of three counts of domestic battery; two counts of driving while her license was canceled, suspended, or revoked; and single counts of assault, aggravated burglary, burglary, criminal restraint, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, failure to pay child support, transporting an open container of alcohol, and violating an order of protection.

Chance D. Johnson, 22, Peabody, jailed Monday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed March 21 to July 3, 2024, for failing to appear in court and May 29 to 31, 2023, on a Butler County warrant and on suspicion of stimulants, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Michael F. Register, 24, Marion, arrested March 19 by a sheriff’s deputy for failing to appear in court. Released half an hour later after posting a $498 bond.

Michael W. Sigel, 52, Marion, Jailed Sunday for 48 hours on court orders. Jail records list Sigel as being jailed without interruption from Feb. 10. However, court records indicate 10 separate 48-hour jailings starting that date and scheduled to continue through April 5.
