NEW JAILINGS
Derek A. Gautschi, 34, Marion, jailed Friday for 48 hours on court orders. Previously jailed Aug. 20 to 23, 2023, on suspicion of domestic battery, aggravated battery, interfering with law enforcement, disorderly conduct, criminal restraint, child endangerment, and battery.
Paul A. Huddleston, 27, Marion, arrested March 26 by a sheriff’s deputy on warrants alleging aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, regular aggravated assault, aggravated child endangerment, three counts of making a criminal threat, and three counts of assault of a law enforcement officer. Released 12 hours later after posting $20,000 in bonds. Arrested a second time Saturday by Marion police on suspicion of new charges of aggravated battery, aggravated burglary, kidnapping, and rape. Held in lieu of posting a $250,000 bond. Previously jailed Feb. 7 on suspicion of driving without a license under the influence of drugs or alcohol and failing to yield to an emergency vehicle.
Michael W. Sigel, 52, Marion, jailed Sunday for 48 hours on court orders. Jail records list Sigel as being jailed without interruption from Feb. 10. However, court records indicate 10 separate 48-hour jailings starting that date and scheduled to continue through a final 48-hour jailing beginning Thursday.
Joshua J. Smalley, 40, Peabody, jailed Thursday for allegedly violating his probation. Held in lieu of posting a $10,000 bond. Previously jailed five times for a total of all or part of 52 days between Jan. 22, 2018, and Feb. 10, 2025. Previous jailings were for allegedly violating his probation, for failing to appear in court, and on suspicion of interfering with law enforcement by falsely reporting a crime, driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol, failing to display evidence of vehicle liability insurance, and driving while his license was canceled, suspended, or revoked.
Bane L. Spurlin, 21, Hillsboro, arrested Friday by a sheriff’s deputy for allegedly violating his probation. Held in lieu of posting a $50,000 bond. Previously jailed Aug. 19 to 23, also for allegedly violating his probation, and April 20, 2022, on suspicion of sexual exploitation of a child.
Adam M. Wilson, 37, Peabody, arrested Thursday by a sheriff’s deputy for allegedly violating his parole. Released Monday without bond. Previously jailed Feb. 20, 2024, for twice failing to appear in court and Feb. 25 to 28, 2022, for allegedly violating his probation and on suspicion of two counts of aggravated failure to appear in court.
