Kevin L. Hower, 49, Hillsboro, pleaded no contest March 11 to driving under the influence of alcohol. Charges of failure to yield and speeding were dismissed.

Reginald V. Matz, 69, Hillsboro, formally was charged April 17 with driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, transporting liquor in an open container, and violation of duty to report damage to an unattended vehicle or other property.

Laramie J. Siebert, 45, Marion, pleaded no contest April 8 to transporting an open container of alcohol and was sentenced to six months’ probation, to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation within 30 days, and to pay $213.
