William T. Ledford, 35, Marion, was sentenced Aug. 26 to two years’ probation and ordered to pay $6,563, write a letter of apology to his victim, and obtain a mental health evaluation for three counts of child endangerment and two counts of criminal damage to property. The sentencing document was filed Nov. 22.
Jackie P. Jemenez Lopez formally was charged Dec. 3 with domestic battery, criminal damage to property, and disorderly conduct.
Although no plea agreement has been filed in court records, county attorney Joel Ensey on Nov. 19 reduced an original charge of aggravated incest filed against Cruz Lopez, 46, Ramona, to attempted aggravated incest. A plea hearing was conducted the same day. Sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 3.
Although no plea agreement has been filed in court records, Ensey on Nov. 14 reduced a charge of distribution of methamphetamine against Alejandro Luna, 44, Topeka, to possession of methamphetamine. A plea hearing was held Nov. 19.
Dustin D. Rodgers, 49, Peabody, pleaded no contest Nov. 21 to possession of methamphetamine and driving while his license was suspended, canceled or revoked. In return, county attorney Joel Ensey agreed not to challenge Rodgers’ request to remain free on his own recognizance until sentencing. He was sentenced Nov. 25, but court files have no record of the sentence other than he was sentenced to community corrections.
Joshua J. Smalley, 40, Florence, formally was charged Dec. 1 with making an unlawful request for emergency service assistance and interference with law enforcement.
Bane L. Spurlin, 21, Hillsboro, formally was charged Thursday with violation of the offender registration act.
Richard R. Tindall, 30, Peabody, formally was charged Dec. 3 with domestic battery and disorderly conduct
