Daniel Frantz

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. today at Durham Park cemetery, rural Durham, for Daniel A. Frantz, 79, who died Thursday at Newton Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 22, 1941, in Goessel to Albert and Anna (Ratzlaff) Frantz.

He married Delores Bowman Aug. 9, 1997, in Ellsworth.

Survivors include his wife; sons, Chris Frantz and Mitch Frantz, both of Hillsboro, John Peterman, Hollyrood, and Corey Peterman, Ellsworth; daughters Brenda Dewitt, Beverly, Donita Kissick, McPherson, Lori Tripp, Salina, Amy Peterman, Hutchinson, and Vanessa Salyers, Wichita; brothers Leonard Frantz, Hillsboro, and Jonas Frantz, Tampa; sisters Esther Funk, Goessel, and Edith Unruh, Oklahoma; and two grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his brother David Frantz in 2015.

A memorial fund has been established for Tampa American Legion Post No. 372.
