Delberta Brandt
A memorial service to celebrate the life of Delberta Weems Brandt, 84, of Middleburg, Florida, will be 2 p.m. July 5 at Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
She passed away peacefully Aug. 13, 2025.
Born October 24, 1940, in Peabody to Henry and Bernice Weems, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Delberta dedicated her life to caring for her family and creating a home filled with warmth and love.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William Brandt; her sister, Andrea Rogers; and her brothers, John Weems and Melvin Weems.
Survivors include her four daughters: Jolene Brandt, Pamela Gannon (and husband Dan), Rebecca Jones (and husband Chris), and Regina Vickery (and husband Robert); nine grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She also is survived by two sisters-in-laws, many nieces and nephews, and many close friends. Each of them carries forward her legacy of kindness, dedication, and unconditional love.
Delberta’s life was a beautiful example of quiet strength and generosity.
She had a gift for making everyone feel welcome, whether providing a listening ear or warm smile.
Her joyful sense of humor could light up a room, and she loved making others laugh.
Her greatest joy came from time spent with her children, grandchildren, family and friends and her love for them was endless.
To her friends, she was a true and loyal companion; to her family, she was the rock they could always depend on.
Her memory will be cherished forever by all who knew her.
